Rego Easy (DAIS) - Accreditation

Queensland Transport requires that all operators of the Easy Business (DAIS) option of the Vehicle Registration Scheme (VRS Operators) become accredited by October 31st 2003.

From November 2003, only operators who hold a Statement of Competency will be able to use DAIS.

How does an Operator become accredited?

  1. New operators are required to complete a training course and prove their competency in a range of topics set down by Queensland Transport. Dealer Solutions offers this training course on a regular basis.


    2. These competencies are:
    1. Searching for Customer / Vehicle(s) / Plates recorded on TRAILS and NEVDIS;
    2. Create vehicle registration New / Secondhand on TRAILS;
    3. Record change to details at time of Transfer or Renewal;
    4. Process plates - Replacement / Attach / Sell Personalised / Surrender;
    5. Reprint or Request the reprint of Registration Certificate and Label;
    6. Cancel registration of a vehicle;
  2. Existing operators with sufficient prior experience in the operation of DAIS may undertake a test to confirm their competency without attending a training course. This option is only available prior to October 31st 2003, for existing users of the DAIS system through Dealerlogic.
