A.) Surrendering of Number Plates

All number plates sent to Queensland Transport, should first be surrendered through your Dealerlogic Software.

The Surrender Plate function can be used to surrender one or more plates for a vehicle.

Plates may be surrendered when:
  • The vehicle is to be cancelled.
  • The plates to be replaced due to damage, having been stolen or missing.
  • Plates are in good order, but are to be replaced with other plates (eg.personalised plate)
  • All Interstate Plates must also be surrendered through your Dealerlogic Software.
N.B.: Plates returned to Queensland Transport are sent for destruction ONLY. It is vital that ALL plates are surrendered on your system prior to you forwarding them to Queensland Transport for destruction.
