A.) Setting up your Gateway (REVS) User Name & Password?
For security reasons, it is a good idea to have your own individual Gateway (REVS) user name and password. This is not the same as the user name and password that you use to log into Dealerlogic, that one remains unchanged.
If you do not have, or do not know, your Gateway (REVS) user name and password you can contact our support desk and we will assist you.
If you already have a main Gateway (REVS) user name and password that everyone in your dealership uses, we strongly recommend that you create individual ones for each user of REVS, WOVR or DAIS (Gateway functions).
You can do this by contacting our support desk and we will assist you in creating new ones. Will do request that you fax us the names of each user, and what they would like as their password. This fax must be on your company letterhead.
Once you have set up individual user names and passwords, you will then need to enter them into Dealerlogic for each user. This is done from the Admin Menu under User Maintenance.
Select a user and click edit. In the user configuration window that appears, enter the Gateway (REVS) user name and password where indicated on the right hand side of the screen.
You are now ready to use the Gateway functions, REVS, WOVR or DAIS.
B.) When I try to send a transaction it asks for a user name & password?
This is the same user name and password that you use for REVS. If you do not have your own individual user name and password, please contact our support desk for instruction on how to set one up now.
C.) What DAIS screens have changed in Dealerlogic?
The DAIS screens in Dealerlogic remain mostly unchanged with the exception of the 'logon screen', which is no longer required, and a new Check Box for the claiming of input tax credits on CTP from July 1st 2003 - Read More Click Here.
D.) What will happen if there are issues with the new system?
We will be posting up to the minute information about the system changes on this web site. If you do experience difficulties, please ensure that you check the Web Site before contacting us.
E.) Should I call support if I can't connect to DAIS?
No - If you experience an issue with DAIS, you should use the online support system in Dealerlogic to lodge a General Support Request. This way you can see the status of your request on screen and we can respond to you much faster than if you were waiting on the phone. Try out the online support system today.
