It is with great appreciation that I write this letter to you. I have been using your software Dealerlogic since opening my yard in February this year. The system allows me to be totally organised. This enables me to concentrate on what I am here to do - Sell Cars, Buy Cars and to give great service.

I am impressed that all functions relating to owning and operating a caryard are fully operational and integrated. Some of these processes include stock management and control, all Queensland Transport functions, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, taxation reporting for BAS returns, as well as, great database facilities for suppliers and more importantly our customers.

The reporting functions give me instant information. At any moment I can determine the profit levels on vehicles, vehicles in stock, asset levels, profit and loss of the business overall…not to mention how we are performing in relation to our budgets.

Another fantastic application is the ability to upload all of our stock information instantly to the Internet. As this process is automatic at any moment in time I know the internet is to the minute. There is no need for wasted time waiting for somebody to change the data on the internet site, allowing us to have no sales opportunities missed.

All of the processes are fluid and adapt quickly to the ever changing daily environment of the car yard. The system is very user friendly, your staff are always helpful and one of the greatest aspects is the ongoing continual improvements and upgrades, the most recent major one being payroll. This will now enable instant integration of salesmen's commissions and wages. It is a great idea for the suggestions box which gives your users input to the program. The changes and improvements completed further refine the program making it even more powerful.

Prior to moving to Queensland, I was in the steel manufacturing business. For 12 years I was directly involved in developing computer software for my industry. It was very interesting, it was hard work, and is one of reasons I appreciate your efforts so greatly. The cost of purchasing the licence of your program is miniscule in relation to the ease and time saving components of using the program. I say this from first hand experience knowing the cost and time involved to produce this software. Well done!
