REVS & Vcheck
The Register of Encumbered Vehicles (REVS) gathers recorded encumbrances for motor vehicles, motorcycles & vessels in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and the Northern Territory (Not Western Australia at this time). REVS also lists certain information relating to stolen vehicles, and this important information is now available to your business via Dealer Solutions.
So before you buy or sell any vehicle, you will be able to access the REVS database and check the vehicle history. There are no subscription fees, only a nominal set-up fee and then you pay for certificates as you go. REVS online certificates are cheaper than the phone / fax REVS system so you save both time and money.
Dealer Solutions is also an approved supplier of the Vehicle Information Certificate (Vcheck), a product launched by Queensland Transport in September 2005. Vcheck helps customers make more informed decisions before buying a used vehicle. For instance, it displays Odometer readings with the registration history of the vehicle giving you an insight into whether data has been altered.
