Guide to PAMDA Forms 37a, 38a-1, 38a-2 & 43
The splitting up of the Form 37/38 into separate forms 37a, 38a-1, 38a-2 & 43 will affect the way that you manage compliance and issue compliance forms to your customers.
Please ensure that you now provide the correct new forms to your customers prior to entering into a contract with them.
Your Dealerlogic software has also undergone some changes to accommodate these new compliance requirements. Not only will the superseded form 37/38 be replaced with the new forms, but other forms that referred to these forms have also been modified.
These include the Used Car Contract and Form 36 (Dealer's Statement). Please note that because the contract Terms & Conditions differ from dealership to dealership, we can not update these for you. Please read and modify the contract terms and conditions to suit your dealership. If necessary, you should also seek your own independent legal advice in this regard.
