A.) What has changed in Dealerlogic?

Cooling-off and Warranty information are still to be provided to your customer prior to you entering into a contract with them. The difference is that now you must provide a form 37a (for Cooling-off) and either form 38a-1 or form 43 (Notice of Statutory Warranty or No Statutory Warranty) depending on whether or not warranty applied to the sale.

If Statutory Warranty does apply to the sale, form 38a-2 (Statutory Warranty Period) is provided to the customer on delivery. This means that you no longer have to determine the warranty start date prior to contract.

Please ensure that you read the accompanying configuration information in this guide and familiarise yourself with the new forms and screen changes in Dealerlogic.

B.) Cooling-off Period

The form 37a provides pre-purchase information about the Cooling-off Period.

In the event that a particular sale is not subject to a cooling-off period, Dealerlogic will not select the form for printing.

C.) Statutory Warranty

Dealerlogic will complete forms 38a-1, 38a-2 & 43 for you based on the sale type at hand and the warranty applicable to the vehicle.

Please note that sales without statutory warranty still require the provision of form 43.

D.) What goes with what in this deal?
(Excluding Caravans, Commercial Vehicles & Sale by Auction)
